HISTORY Warts and All is exactly what it means. This live performance has a plethora of mistakes, flubs, and even a power outage during Wild Eyes, but unlike most live albums today, it is an accurate representation of what Captain Pyrite sounded like on May 10th, 1997. It also marks the end of Jet-boy's tenure in the band, who left the band in the fall of 1997.
That night the line up featured C-DOG on guitar, Jet-boy on vocals, guitar, and the Monkey Paw (foot pedal sampler), Big Nate Armstrong on Bass, the Emperor John~Morgan on drums, and local sensation, Wink Wang, who sat in at the keyboards. Crazy Louie mixed the album on the fly in between swigs on his whiskey bottle.
The album also includes Shame, the last studio track featuring Jet-boy's vocals. |
