Brian Czarnik - Biography

Born in the 70’s in the time of Sanford and Son and CHiPs, Brian was destined to become someone special after he was forced to ride the short bus and go to preschool with real live retarded kids. He loved standing alone in a corner and pretending he was either Ace Frehley from KiSS or just a guy wearing no pants.

In high school during the ever so hip 80’s, Brian never got any girlie action so he started playing in the band OBLIVION. They rocked and got onto small indie labels and toured the U.S. and Canada in their hey-day. Brian also played drums for the Chicago Punk Rock band the Bollweevils from 1991-1995.

Off shoot musical projects like Gay Vivian, Popes on Scope, and his solo work came out during these early 90’s years of alternative rock as Brian walked around junior colleges looking for hot, girly action. His love of Elvis also came out in his comedic Elvis tapes. “Elvis was the only man to really make my mommy cry,” said Brian. And for one night in 1998, and one night only, Brian performed a spoken work routine at the Fireside Bowl that to this day is still referred infamously as the “night the stutterer struck back!” Brian released the performance on cassette, and like his Elvis CD, it is out of print.

His bands brought local stardom in the Chicago underground scene and all the girlie action one could ever want. One of these “actions” fell for him and he married and moved down to Tampa, Florida working among tigers at a zoo and animal sanctuary. One divorce and many girlies later, Brian still finds himself talking among the great cats trying to get a revolution started.

Brian now drums for the sweet melodic sonic pop sounds of LIFE OF PI (www.lifeofpiband.com) and spends his days thinking about the good old days, and of course, getting lots of girlie action!
